Elon Musk, the CEO of social media platform X, is preparing to enter into competition with Google’s video streaming platform YouTube, and the OTT platform Netflix. Musk intends to launch his own streaming app, allowing users to watch long videos on Smart TVs. Musk made this announcement on Saturday, March 9.
The rollout of this feature is imminent. In response to a user’s post on X, Musk hinted at its imminent release by stating, “Coming Soon.”

Additionally, Musk shared on X (Twitter) that users will have the option to use Apple AirPlay to stream videos from their phones to their TVs.

Furthermore, X recently introduced a new feature called Articles on Friday, March 8. This feature allows Premium+ users and verified organizations to publish articles containing stylized text, embedded images, and videos. According to the company, Articles on X provides a new platform for sharing long-form written content. Publication of articles is limited to Premium+ users and verified organizations.
