There has been a technical problem with the social media platform X (previously Twitter), owned by Elon Musk. Some users are having difficulty accessing the site. According to DownDetector, a platform that tracks online issues, users have reported problems accessing the platform, especially with media.
Reports say the problem with X began at 10:41 am on Thursday. During this time, some users couldn’t use X at all. They couldn’t share posts, and many had trouble opening the page.
Users across India, particularly in cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Cuttack, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and others, reported issues with X, according to the live outage map. However, Downdetector’s global page shows that X is working fine in countries like the US, UK, and Australia.
Previously, in December 2023, X faced a major issue and shut down globally without explanation. Services resumed after a few hours. It’s likely that the current problem will also be resolved soon.
