The social media platform X (Twitter), owned by Elon Musk, is consistently introducing new features for its users. In its latest update, the company introduced the ‘Articles’ feature on Friday. This feature provides users with a new way to share long-form written content on the platform. However, it’s important to note that publishing articles is restricted to Premium+ users and verified organizations.
According to the company, Articles enable users to share text, images, videos, GIFs, posts, and links. Additionally, users can format their articles with headings, subheadings, bold, italics, strikethrough, indentation, numerical and bulleted lists.

Here’s how you can compose, edit, and delete articles on X:
How do you compose articles on X?
- Go to the Articles tab via the side navigation panel.
- Click on ‘Write’ to start drafting your article.
- Once your article is ready, click ‘Done’ to publish it. Your published article will be visible on the Articles tab of your profile.
How to edit articles on X?
- Navigate to the Articles tab to find your articles.
- Tap the three-dot menu next to the article you want to edit and select ‘Edit Article.’
- Confirm the edit, which will temporarily unpublish the article.
- Make the necessary changes and then republish the article.
How to delete articles on X?
- Go to the Articles tab and select the article you wish to remove.
- Click the three-dot menu and choose ‘Delete.’
- The selected article will then be removed from the platform.
